The ice is here! |
The temperature is well and truly dropping here now, and in many spots in Sweden the ice skating has already started! We’re not quite there yet in Stockholm, but it won’t be long before the archipelago and the surrounding lakes freeze and we can put on our Nordic skates! We simply cannot wait!
PURE BLISS IS… Gliding over natural ice through the outstanding landscape of the Stockholm archipelago with the warmth of the winter sun on your face and the sense of freedom running through your limbs. Looking down at your skates on that perfect glass-like ice, and seeing straight through it to the fish swimming beneath you and the ocean/lake floor beneath them!
COSY IS… Taking a well-earned break after 3-4 hours skating, snuggling up around an open fire to cook sausages and drink something hot, whilst looking out over the scenic wild landscape.

Join us on our 3 Day Swedish Skating Adventure! We will skate on the best natural ice each day; in an area of approximately 350 km around Stockholm. Within that area there are 3 of Europe’s 5 largest lakes (Vänern, Vättern and Mälaren) and Stockholm’s archipelago in the Baltic sea. No matter if you are an experienced ice skater or a novice, our expert guides are all extremely experienced nordic skaters and wild skating guides, so you couldn’t be in more capable hands!
